Re: Celebrating The Archive's embedded flow player |
Now I'm observing The Archive's WinAmp flow player may be playing the M3U stream of the mp3 VBR files. That's lossy. We want lossless. I believe I am hearing the difference, but I'm busy on another project now. The flow player's WinAmp control panel display on The Archive indicates a lower bit rate. This is the same way my computer's WinAmp indicates, when I play IA's M3U vbr stream to my computer's WinAmp player. (My computer's players are WinAmp, Foobar, and iTunes.)
Sorry if I've confused anyone. The WinAmp skin is a very powerful option for IA's flow player, and I felt obligated to outline what's going on here. I only discovered the WinAmp player skin last evening, and I decided to give it a write-up today. I think I've covered it.
